What are some pros and cons for the following (keeping in mind that the items are suppose to be suitable for a school environment): e.g. a shade cloth – pro: covers large amound of area.. con: expensive.. 1.. a handball court 2.. solar panels 3.. outdoor solar lamp (e.g. con: easy to steal, etc.) 4.. concrete 5.. ivory pavers 6.. tiles thanks.. all answers appreciated =] (oh and sorry if i posted this in the wrong category… i wasnt sure where to put it?)
Good teen/boy’s outdoor watches?
I’m trying to find a good watch similar to the Casio Pathfinder, but in a smaller size. It would need to have many of the same features like a barometer, altimeter, compass and hopefully use solar power. I don’t see many good options when searching for boys, teens or women. It’s not enough to adjust the band size, as the case itself is large (50mm in diameter, 17mm width typically) and that makes it awkward. I would appreciate any tips.

Could a 12v deep cycle battery power a tv with a 20″ or larger screen?
I’m looking for a way to power a small to medium sized television in a place with no electricity. This is for a temporary outdoor art installation. So I was wondering if a 12v deep cycle battery would do the trick? Maybe if it was hooked up to a small solar panel? I don’t care if it only works on sunny days. Has anyone tried this? Or does anyone know of a better way?
